On Friday the 27th, El Paso County moved to Level Red/Severe Risk on the COVID-19 Dial. As we’ve navigated this tumultuous year, Dina and I want to thank you, our faithful and valuable customers, for inviting us into your homes and allowing us to serve you and your custom window treatment needs. Here are some important things we would like to communicate as we navigate this latest State and local mandate:

Are You Still Open for In-Home Consultations and/or Installations?

Yes, with restrictions. Our Red-Level/Severe Risk protocol is strictly no touch, social distancing, masks and gloves, and routine disinfecting. This is on-site at our office as well as when we visit your home or workplace. As long as the spread of COVID-19 remains a threat, we will be vigilant in managing your safety, the safety of our employees and of those who serve us.

If you can guarantee the following controlled environment, we can proceed with installations or in-home consultations:

  1. Customer presence in the home is limited to 1-2 persons
  2. No one in the home is manifesting symptoms of COVID
  3. No one in the home is currently quarantining for any COVID-related reason (including waiting for test results)
  4. No one in the home has tested positive for COVID in the previous 14 days

If any of these conditions do exist, we can easily reschedule your appointment. We are required to follow State and local mandates related to your safety and the safety of our staff. Therefore, to limit contact during the time we will be in your home we require that individuals move to a secure location we will not be working in, or not be in the home at all.

We understand that with winter weather, work-at-home requirements and possibly even home schooling, you have a lot to manage and this is a difficult situation for all. We have had customers allow our highly-skilled staff in their homes and then leave the area where we will be working so we can do our measurements, etc. Others have sequestered in a separate area of the home. Customers have allowed us access for final measurements or even installations via lock box when they are not on premises. The bottom line is, we respect you and your home or office, and are working hard during Level Red/Severe Risk, to follow State and local mandates and maintain a safe work environment.

Can You Provide Your Services Virtually?

Yes, we offer virtual consultations in lieu of in-home consultations (via Zoom, FaceTime, Duo, etc.). Throughout the year, these virtual consultations have been successful in helping our customers get their projects started under COVID restrictions. Your home is unique, and since every window treatment is custom-made, we know that one size does not fit all. As with our previous Stay at Home orders, in some situations, we have been able to proceed without ever requiring a visit in the home. Other times, we will schedule a final measurement after you have selected window treatments, colors, etc. We can even ship sample swatches directly to your home or drop off sample books. Schedule your time with us, and we will walk you through all options.

Can I Visit You in the Showroom?

Yes, but restricted. Per State mandates, we can only allow a limited number of people in the building at any given time. If we exceed those levels we have to restrict access. Therefore we strongly encourage customers to schedule a time to transact business in the showroom and we will stagger appointment times. Whether reviewing final samples, stopping by to pick up temp shades for your home, or handling payment or financing, we are here for you. We do discourage walk-up business in the showroom due to the number-of-people restrictions. Scheduling an appointment will insure we can accommodate serving you. Additionally, you will be asked to voluntarily sign-in when you arrive to support contact tracing if necessary. Simply call us at 719-301-7171 and we will accommodate your schedule with ours.

What Steps Have You Taken to Ensure Your Customers’ and Employee’s Safety?
